'Collaboration is necessary for a resilient society’
In late August, the Netherlands Chief of Defence Onno Eichelsheim visited the TU Delft Campus to explore potential partnerships between the Ministry of Defence and the University that will contribute to state-of-the-art armed forces and a resilient society. He spoke with Pioneering Tech after the visit. According to Eichelsheim, “We don't have a minute to waste.”

Redesigning chemical innovation
How can we make room for innovation in the chemical sector while making sure that new chemicals and chemical processes are safe and sustainable? The ‘Safe and Sustainable by Design’ (SSbD) approach is promising as a solution to this dilemma, but there are still many questions on how to best understand it and put it into practice. The Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (I&W) and Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) have just published a collection of eleven essays by experts. Two of those essays were written by TU Delft researchers.

Hundreds of Hackers Join Largest Dutch Cybersecurity Competition at TU Delft |
|
TU Delft's annual Capture The Flag (CTF) competition made history this year as the largest beginner-friendly hacking competition in the Netherlands. Bringing together hundreds of students, tech enthusiasts, and cybersecurity newcomers, the event featured a day packed with problem-solving, hacking, and learning on the TU Delft campus. |
